Ron Moore
|
No stranger to the outdoors and the cowboy way of life, western artist,
Ron Moore grew up spending his time as a rancher, working cowboy and
packer in the American west. When he was a child, his family left
Oklahoma for the west and Ron spent a lot of his life making horse
tracks throughout the western states. Having no TV and poor radio
reception, Ron would be entertained by his father drawing cowboys and
horses at the kitchen table in the evenings.
Ron has taught drawing at Gila Pueblo College in Globe, Arizona, and
is a yearly contributor to An Artist's Christmas in Fort Worth, Texas
and to The Rough Riders Show and Auction in Williston, North
Dakota. His paintings, pen, and ink drawings, prints and
sculptures are located in collections in Belgium and Belize, Central
America as well as throughout the United States.
